Start-up awards now open

The 13th annual Startups Awards are now open to privately owned UK-based businesses launched on or after 1 August 2012 giving the winners the opportunity to receive major publicity, validation and increased exposure.

The awards will be judged by a high-profile panel of entrepreneurs, business leaders, and investors who will also decide the winner of the ultimate prize; Startups Business of the Year, with the winners being revealed on the evening of Thursday 17 November 2016 during a special ceremony at The Royal Garden Hotel in London.

The competition is open to app developers, home-based entrepreneurs, franchisees and many more, so interested parties should investigate the 13 available categories and must apply by September.

The list of award-winning alumni is impressive, from naming Ella’s Kitchen as micro-business of the year way back in 2006 to honouring as Innovative Business of the Year in 2015 just ahead of its £58m AIM-listing.

As a spokeswoman for said, every year the Startups Awards unearths hugely exciting and transformative new businesses and entrepreneurs that continue to make people sit up and pay attention to the start-up community.
