Later this month the first Pitching for Management tour of 2013 will start at the University of Staffordshire in Stoke-on-Trent and will take place in a further 11 locations across the country between January and March.

During the tour start-ups and small business owners are invited to apply for their chance to pitch their business to a management talent pool.

The events are aimed at entrepreneurs with a great business who need an extra skill set to move to the next level or to achieve a specific goal and experienced professionals looking for full or part-time positions, which could be anything from chairmanships to Sales Directors.

Pitching for Management’s aim is to help early-stage companies grow quicker and more effectively by focusing on building the right team for their businesses, whether they have a proven product or service but need help on taking it to market, or are great with sales but need someone to help you with accountancy or even if they are thinking about finding a successor or building a Non-Executive board.

Since investors look for a proven and highly skilled management team when considering whether to invest, Pitching for Management is essential for any early-stage business looking to raise finance, according to founder and CEO of Pitching for Management, Modwenna Rees-Mogg.

This latest tour follows on from the success of the events over the last three years, which have enabled hundreds of business owners to connect with the right management staff.
